Bookmarks

Bookmarks let you save a record you want to come back to — an order, a task, an inventory item, and more — so you can reopen it in one click. Bookmarks are personal to you and live within your current workspace. This page is for everyone, whether you're on the 3PL operations side or a brand user.

Who is this for?

Everyone. Saving, opening, and removing bookmarks is available to all roles. Your bookmarks are private to you and you only ever see records for brands assigned to you.

Overview

Use bookmarks to keep a short list of records you're actively working on or watching:

  • Save any supported record with the Bookmark button on its detail page.
  • Reopen saved records from the Bookmarks panel (desktop) or the Bookmarks page (mobile).
  • Remove a bookmark from the same button, or from the list, when you're done.

Bookmarks are private to your account and scoped to the workspace you're in, so switching workspaces shows a different set. You can bookmark orders, tasks, inventory items, inbound shipments, Context articles, Drive, comments, and messages.

Bookmark a record

You bookmark a record from its detail page using the Bookmark button.

  1. Open the record you want to save — for example, an order from the warehouse, or a task.
  2. Find the Bookmark button near the top of the record. On some screens it shows as a bookmark icon only.
  3. Select Bookmark. The button fills in and changes to Bookmarked to confirm the record is saved.

That's it — the record now appears in your Bookmarks. The bookmark icon in the top header shows a count badge so you always know how many you have saved.

Tip

The same button toggles the bookmark off. If a record already shows Bookmarked, selecting it again removes it.

Find your bookmarks

How you open your bookmarks depends on whether you're on desktop or mobile, but the list is the same in both places.

On desktop: select the bookmark icon in the top header. The Bookmarks panel slides out on the right with your saved records. Select the close button to dismiss it.

On mobile: tap the bookmark icon in the header to open the dedicated Bookmarks page. Use the back arrow to return to where you were.

You can also go straight to the Bookmarks page at any time by visiting /bookmarks.

Each row shows the record's title, a type badge (such as Order, Task, or Shipment), and when you saved it. Records load in batches — if you have many bookmarks, select Load more at the bottom to see older ones.

Open a bookmarked record

Open a saved record straight from your bookmark list.

  1. Open the Bookmarks panel (desktop) or Bookmarks page (mobile).
  2. Select the row for the record you want.
  3. Packr takes you to that record's detail page.

Bookmarks remember the brand a record belongs to, so selecting one takes you to the correct brand-scoped record even when the same number exists across more than one brand.

Remove a bookmark

You can remove a bookmark two ways:

  • From the list: open your Bookmarks, then select the remove (×) icon on the right of the row. The row disappears immediately.
  • From the record: open the record and select the Bookmarked button so it toggles back to Bookmark.

Removing a bookmark only removes your saved shortcut. It never changes or deletes the underlying record.

Common questions

How do I bookmark an order? Open the order from the warehouse, then select the Bookmark button (the bookmark icon) near the top of the order. It changes to Bookmarked and the order appears in your Bookmarks. See Orders.

Where do I find my bookmarks? Select the bookmark icon in the top header. On desktop this opens the Bookmarks panel on the right; on mobile it opens the Bookmarks page. You can also visit /bookmarks directly.

How do I remove a bookmark? Open your Bookmarks and select the remove (×) icon on the row, or open the record and select the Bookmarked button to toggle it off. Removing a bookmark never deletes the record itself.

Are my bookmarks shared with my team? No. Bookmarks are private to your account. Each person manages their own list, and it's separate from following, notes, and tasks.

Why don't I see a bookmark I saved earlier? Bookmarks are scoped to a single workspace. If you switched workspaces, switch back to see that list. See Navigating Packr.
