Responses & analytics

Read the results of a survey you've collected feedback on: total responses, completion rate, sentiment, per-question breakdowns, and an AI summary. This is the See Results view for a single survey.

Operators

Viewing survey results is a permission-gated operator task. The See Results option only appears for roles that have the "see survey results" permission. Brand users who are invited to a survey can give feedback, but typically don't see the results view.

Overview

The See Results view summarizes one survey's collected feedback in a single scrollable page. From here you can:

  • See how many people responded and the completion rate against invites.
  • Read overall sentiment and average ratings at a glance.
  • See who responded in the Respondents list.
  • Read an AI-generated Pax Insights summary of patterns and action items.
  • View per-question charts and read free-text answers.

This survey results view is separate from the workspace-wide Insights section, which is not currently available. See Survey results vs. the Insights section below.

Open the See Results view

Open a survey's results from the survey list. Reading survey results requires the "see survey results" permission, so the menu option only shows for operators with that permission.

  1. Go to Feedback and find the survey card in the survey grid.
  2. Select the ... (more) button on the survey card.
  3. Select See Results.

The page header shows the survey title followed by — Results, with the response count as a subtitle (for example, "12 responses").

Read the summary stats

At the top of the results view, a row of stat cards gives you the headline numbers. Cards only appear when there's data behind them, so you may see fewer than four.

  • Responses — the total number of submitted responses.
  • Completion Rate — responses as a percentage of invites, with the detail "X of Y invites".
  • Overall Sentiment — a label (Positive, Neutral, or Negative) with an emoji and the underlying score.
  • Avg Rating — the average star rating; if there's a single rating question, the card is labeled with that question's text.

If a survey has no responses yet, the view shows No responses yet with a prompt to send the survey. Share it to start collecting feedback — see Create surveys.

See who responded

The Respondents card lists the people who submitted feedback. Workspace members show as user chips you can select; anonymous or external respondents show by name or email, or as Anonymous when no identity is available. The Respondents card appears only when at least one response exists.

Read the Pax Insights summary

The Pax Insights card is an AI-generated read of your survey responses, produced by Pax (Packr AI). It loads after the results and is organized into two sections:

  • Patterns — recurring themes Pax found across the responses.
  • Action Items — suggested follow-ups based on the feedback.

If the summary can't be generated, the card shows a short error message instead. Pax Insights appears only once the survey has at least one response.

Read per-question results

Below the summary, each question has its own card showing the response count and a breakdown that matches the question type:

  • Sentiment Overview — a chart of how responses split across positive, neutral, and negative sentiment.
  • Rating questions — the average rating out of 5 with a star display, plus a bar chart of the rating distribution.
  • Choice questions (single- or multi-select) — a bar chart of how often each option was chosen.
  • Free-text questions — the individual written answers, listed so you can read them in full.

Survey results vs. the Insights section

There are two different things named similarly — don't confuse them:

  • Survey results (this page) — the See Results view for one survey, reached from the survey card. This is available now and is what this page documents.
  • The Insights section — a separate, workspace-wide analytics area for actionable insights across your feedback data. It currently shows a placeholder that reads "coming soon" and is not currently available.

If you want results for a survey today, use See Results on the survey card, not the Insights section.

Common questions

Where do I see survey results? Go to Feedback, select the ... menu on a survey card, and choose See Results. That opens the survey's results view with responses, sentiment, ratings, and a Pax Insights summary.

How do I read survey responses? Open See Results for the survey. Free-text answers are listed in full under each free-text question; choice and rating questions show charts; and the Respondents card shows who responded.

Why don't I see the See Results option? Reading survey results is an operator permission. If the See Results option is missing from the survey's ... menu, your role doesn't have the "see survey results" permission. See Roles & permissions.

Why does it say "No responses yet"? The survey hasn't collected any responses. Share the survey to start gathering feedback, then check back — see Create surveys.

Is this the same as the Insights section? No. The See Results view shows one survey's results and is available now. The workspace-wide Insights section is a separate area that is not currently available (it shows a "coming soon" placeholder).
