Connecting your WMS¶
Connect your warehouse management system (WMS) so Packr can sync your orders, inventory, and shipments. Today Packr connects to ShipHero.
Admin only
Connecting, refreshing, and disconnecting your WMS is an admin-only task. You need a workspace admin role to manage integrations.
Overview¶
Connecting your WMS links your ShipHero warehouse account to your Packr workspace. From Settings -> Integrations an admin can:
- Connect your warehouse by entering your ShipHero login.
- See the WMS Connected status once the link is live.
- Refresh the connection status, or Disconnect to remove the stored credentials.
When you connect, Packr imports your ShipHero brands automatically so you can start mapping them right away. The credentials you enter connect your entire ShipHero 3PL account (every brand in the warehouse), not just one brand.

Connect your WMS¶
Connecting your WMS is an admin-only task. Use a warehouse-level ShipHero login, because these credentials connect your whole 3PL account.
- Go to Settings -> Integrations.
- On the Connect WMS card, enter your ShipHero email and ShipHero password.
- Select Connect to ShipHero.
- Review the confirmation that these credentials link your entire ShipHero 3PL account, then select Confirm & Connect.
- Wait for the "Connecting to ShipHero..." step to finish. When you see Connected, your WMS is linked.
Note
Packr uses your credentials only to fetch a ShipHero API token. You can disconnect anytime from this page.

Check that your WMS is connected¶
Once your warehouse is linked, the Integrations page shows a WMS Connected card. The card displays the integration label (ShipHero), the provider, and when the connection was made.
To re-check the status at any time, select Refresh on the connected card. This reloads the current connection state.

How brands are imported on connect¶
When you connect ShipHero, Packr automatically imports your warehouse's brands so you don't have to add them by hand. Each ShipHero brand becomes a brand in your workspace, ready to be mapped to the right warehouse account.
After connecting, finish setup by mapping each brand to its ShipHero customer account. See Brand WMS mapping. Brand import is best-effort during connect — if any brands are missing, select Refresh or re-check from your brand settings later.
Tip
A brand in Packr appears as a Group on some screens (for example, the Directory). They refer to the same thing.
Disconnect your WMS¶
Disconnecting removes the stored ShipHero credentials from your workspace. Disconnecting is an admin-only task.
- Go to Settings -> Integrations.
- On the WMS Connected card, select Disconnect.
- Confirm by selecting Disconnect in the prompt.
Warning
Disconnecting removes the stored credentials and stops data from syncing. Your existing orders, inventory, and shipments stay in Packr, but they will no longer update until you reconnect.
