Shipping errors SLA

The Shipping Errors tab measures your perfection rate: the share of shipped orders that didn't have a shipping error recorded against them. It breaks the rate down by warehouse and brand, and judges it against a perfection-rate target that admins can set for each warehouse.

Who can see this

You need access to SLA data. See SLA overview. Downloading the shipping errors CSV is limited to 3PL team members.

Overview

  • See your perfection rate, the share of shipped orders with no recorded shipping error, against your target.
  • Compare warehouses and brands by perfection %, orders shipped, errors, and unresolved errors.
  • Open the shipping errors behind a count, and go straight to each order.
  • Download every shipping error for the period as a CSV.
  • On the 24h period, see Pax cards about the brands pulling the rate down and the errors still unresolved.

How the perfection rate works

  • Orders shipped counts the distinct orders that shipped with a tracking number during the period.
  • Errors counts the shipping errors recorded on orders. For how errors are recorded, see Shipping errors. An error counts on the day its order shipped, or on the day it was recorded if the order has no ship date.
  • Perfection rate is the share of orders shipped without an error: 1 − (errors ÷ orders shipped).
  • Resolved errors still count. An error is resolved once someone marks it as reviewed. That keeps the brand informed, but it doesn't remove the error from the rate. The Unresolved column shows the errors nobody has marked as reviewed yet.

With no filters, the gauge shows Average warehouse perfection %, the average of each warehouse's rate, so every warehouse counts equally. With filters, it shows Perfection rate % for what you've selected. The target comes from SLA settings, where admins can set a different target for each warehouse. The default is 99%.

When you filter to a single warehouse, a caption shows its target, for example Target perfection rate 99% · errors count whether or not they're resolved.

The 24h period covers up to two days

Shipping errors are recorded per day, not per hour. On the 24h period, the rate covers the two calendar days the last 24 hours fall across: always the full last 24 hours, plus part of the day before. Use 7 days or 30 days for a period that lines up exactly.

Warehouses and brands tables

The Warehouses table lists each warehouse's Perfection %, with a bar and a tick at the target, plus its Orders shipped, Errors, and Unresolved counts. The footer totals them and shows how many errors are resolved. Select a warehouse's row to narrow the page to that warehouse.

The Brands table lists the same figures for each brand. Select a brand's name to open its Brand Work Desk.

See the errors behind a count

  1. Select an Errors count in either table.
  2. The Shipping errors panel lists the errors. Each one shows Resolved or Unresolved, the error type, the date the order shipped, and the description. When there are more errors than the panel lists, it shows how many of the total are listed.
  3. Select an order number to open that order.

Download shipping errors as a CSV

  1. Choose a single warehouse and a single brand, or leave either one on All. The CSV isn't available while several warehouses or brands are selected.
  2. Select CSV in the toolbar.

The file lists every shipping error behind the page for the period, warehouse, and brand you've selected. The button is unavailable when there are no shipping errors in the period.

Pax cards

On the 24h period, Pax cards sit beside the gauge:

  • Lift followed by a brand name — a brand below target, with how many of its shipped orders had errors and how many are unresolved. The worst brands come first.
  • Unresolved errors — how many of the period's errors are still unresolved.
  • Shipping errors — the period's error count against orders shipped, shown when nothing else stands out.
  • Error-free period — no shipping errors recorded for what you've selected.

Tips

  • Record shipping errors on the order when they happen, so the rate reflects them. See Shipping errors.
  • Marking errors as reviewed doesn't change the perfection rate, but it keeps brands in the loop.
  • Some warehouses may need a higher or lower bar. Admins can set a per-warehouse target in SLA settings.

Common questions

What is the perfection rate? The perfection rate is the share of shipped orders that had no shipping error recorded against them during the period, compared with your target.

Do resolved shipping errors still count against the perfection rate? Yes. An error counts against the rate whether or not it's been resolved by marking it as reviewed. The Unresolved column shows which ones are still open.

Why does the 24h period include more than one day of shipping errors? Shipping errors are recorded per day, not per hour, so the 24h period covers the two calendar days the last 24 hours fall across. Use 7 or 30 days for an exact window.

Which day does a shipping error count on? The day its order shipped. If the order has no ship date, the error counts on the day it was recorded.

Who can download the shipping errors CSV? 3PL team members with SLA access. Select a single warehouse and a single brand, or leave either on All, then select CSV.

How do I change the perfection-rate target? Admins set it in Settings → SLA under Shipping-error target — perfection rate. Set the default on the default tab, or pick a warehouse tab to give that warehouse its own target.
